$49/year to claim your distillery. Locked for life.
We shipped the Boozemakers distillery directory in May 2026 with 5,513 distilleries pulled from federal license filings, mapped, and progressively reviewed. The first 1,000 owners who claim their listing lock in $49 a year forever. After that, the standard rate is $199. Renewals at your founding rate are guaranteed as long as your subscription stays active.

$49 / year
Available now
Lifetime price lock. Available for the first 1,000 paid claims, or until January 1, 2027, whichever comes first.
$199 / year
Standard rate
The price every new claim will pay once founding rates close. Founding subscribers never see this rate.
What $49 actually gets you
Six things we build into your listing, three things our editorial team does for you. No fluff — if you can’t tell what a line means, it doesn’t belong on this page.
Your description, not ours
The copy we researched or auto-enriched gets replaced with whatever you write. You control how your distillery is introduced to new visitors.
Photo gallery (up to 10 images)
Replace the single auto-pulled hero with a gallery of your photos. Tasting room, still, barrels, label shots — whatever sells the visit.
Custom primary CTA
Replace "Get directions" with your own button: "Book a tour," "Shop online," "Reserve a tasting." Goes to whatever URL you want.
Verified-by-Owner badge + cleaner page
Trust marker on the hero, plus we drop the ‘Similar distilleries’ block so your competitors stop appearing on your page.
Do-follow backlink to your site
Most directories nofollow their outbound links. Yours becomes do-follow — a real SEO asset from a topical-authority publication.
Featured slot eligibility on your state page
Claimed listings rotate into the Featured Must-Visit slot at the top of /makers/state/[your-state]. Unclaimed listings can’t.
Editorial perks (we do these, you don’t lift a finger)
Newsletter mention
A short writeup in the Boozemakers newsletter the month you claim. Goes to our full subscriber list.
Owner interview
A 20-minute Q&A we publish on the site (like our Chris Parsons / Sweetens Cove piece). Yours by request after claiming.
Trail-guide priority
First dibs on inclusion when we expand or update regional trail guides — the Kentucky Bourbon Trail series, Pacific Northwest, etc.
Why this is different from Yelp / TripAdvisor / Yellow Pages
Boozemakers is an editorial publication, not a directory aggregator. Your listing sits next to 200+ original reviews and guides, trail guides like our Kentucky Bourbon Trail series, and in-depth owner interviews.
A claim here means your listing inherits the topical authority of a publication that knows the difference between Buffalo Trace and Wild Turkey. The do-follow backlink, the editorial proximity, the newsletter mention — none of those are things a $49 Yelp claim can do.
We also don’t sell ads against your listing. No banner for a competitor at the top of your page. No “Sponsored results” pushing visitors elsewhere. The page is yours.
Questions we actually get asked
- Why $49?
- Because we just launched. Boozemakers shipped the distillery directory in May 2026 with 5,513 distilleries pulled from TTB and CCDA filings, geocoded onto a national map, and progressively enriched with editorial coverage. We need the first wave of owners to claim and tell us what's wrong, what's missing, and what would actually move the needle on their business. $49 is the price of being early.
- Why will the price go up to $199?
- Once we hit 1,000 paid claims or January 1, 2027 — whichever comes first — the standard claim rate moves to $199/year for new listings. Existing $49 subscribers stay at $49 every renewal for as long as the subscription is active. The price lock is the entire point of being a founding subscriber.
- What does ‘claim’ actually do to my listing?
- Six engineering changes plus three editorial perks. Engineering: (1) your own description replaces the one we wrote/scraped, (2) you upload up to 10 photos that show on the listing as a gallery, (3) you set the primary call-to-action button to whatever you want (book a tour, shop online, RSVP to an event), (4) the listing displays a Verified-by-Owner badge and we drop the “Similar distilleries” cross-promo block, (5) the link to your website becomes a do-follow link (most directories make it nofollow), (6) you become eligible for our rotating Featured Must-Visit slot on your state’s page. Editorial: writeup in our newsletter on the month you claim, a 20-minute owner interview we publish on the site, and first dibs on guest features in our trail guides.
- How do you verify I actually own the distillery?
- Payment is the proof. We auto-grant the claim the moment your $49 Stripe payment clears — no waiting on us to approve a queue entry. We audit claims after the fact and revoke any that turn out to be fraudulent (the original card gets refunded). In practice: nobody pays $49 to claim a competitor’s listing.
- Can I cancel? What happens if I do?
- Yes — from your account dashboard or through the standard Stripe billing portal. If you cancel, your claim stays active until the end of the paid period; after that, the listing reverts to its unclaimed state (our description and photos return, your gallery and custom CTA disappear). The $49 price lock is forfeit on cancellation — if you re-claim later, you pay the rate in effect at the time.
- What’s the do-follow backlink worth?
- Boozemakers is a 200-article editorial site with Domain Rating climbing through 2026; our links carry weight. A do-follow link from a listing on a topical-authority domain is a real SEO asset — search-engine professionals routinely charge $100–$500 for a single equivalent placement on a niche publication. We’re including it because we think the directory works better when our best owners get credit for it.
- What if my distillery already has a Boozemakers review?
- Even better — claiming connects the review to your owner-controlled listing. Your description shows above the review, your gallery above the bottle shots, and the review keeps its editorial independence (we won’t edit a score to favor a paying claim). If we haven’t reviewed you yet, claiming pushes you to the top of our editorial queue.
- What if my distillery isn’t in the directory at all?
- Email us. If you’re federally licensed (US TTB or Canadian CCDA) we almost certainly have you — try searching by your DSP number. If you’re a craft producer that hasn’t shown up yet, we’ll add you within 48 hours of a claim attempt, then process the payment.
Ready to lock in $49 for life?
Find your distillery in the directory, click the “Claim this business” button on your listing, and check out with Stripe. The claim activates the moment payment clears.
Founding rate is gated on count (1,000 paid claims) and date (January 1, 2027). Whichever happens first closes the window.
